Unite For Vitiligo via their latest campaign, Vitiligo Vents, helped vitiligo fighters vent their perceived indignity, misfortune, or injustice out. People around the world, from different age and profession, participated in the social campaign, using the hashtag – #VitiligoVents.
Venting is a 2-way process. It involves the person venting and the person listening to the vent. Clearly, it is not just about the person venting, but equally important, the person who is hearing the vent. When people vent, they may not always need a verbal response. They want someone to listen. Unite For Vitiligo (UFV) fulfilled this need. Vitiligo fighters were given UFV’s social media platforms to vent out their anger and frustration.
